A Storyteller.

+ A Black Girl Thriving.

I am a storyteller and digital creator passionate about identity and representation in the media.

Having grown up in some of the most diverse locations in the world - Guyana, Toronto, and the New York Metropolitan area, I have a deep love and appreciation for culture and people of all walks of life.

I am a screenwriter by trade receiving my MFA from Boston University in 2016. Since then, my scripts have received recognition in Final Draft’s Big Break, ScreenCraft’s Pilot Launch, and BET and ColorCreative’s Script to Film contests.  I am an alum of the Alison R. Bernstein Media Mentoring Program (2017- 2018 class). I am on the leadership team of Emmanuel Gospel Center’s Filmmaker Collaborative, a diverse community of over 30 Christian filmmakers in the Boston area, and a member of GrubStreet’s Boston Writers of Color group.

My current creative projects include a commissioned short film about finding hope in the midst of racial injustice and police brutality as well as a documentary & podcast series exploring African ancestry and black cultural identity.

I love a good dad joke, collecting postcards from every city I visit, and I am most likely to be found jamming to an old-school bop.
